On Thursday 14th January the whole of Year 9 took part in an Interactive Art Day in the University of Wales Trinity St David, Lampeter Campus. Staff from the Archaeology and Anthropology departments led workshops for groups of Year 9 pupils ranging from making clay figurines, appraising Egyptian artefacts and looking at ancient piece of wood through microscopes, to name but a few!
Practising artist and lecturer Eloise Govier ran a whole year group workshop, creating a huge moving dragon. Pupils enjoyed this interactive activity, as can be seen from the photos!
The day allowed pupils to have the experience of being a student on a University campus and we are grateful for their continuing link with the Art department.
