Datganiad Gweledigaeth Ysgol Bro Pedr ar gyfer Addysg Gyrfaoedd a'r Byd Gwaith
Yn Ysgol Bro Pedr, rydym wedi ymrwymo i rymuso pob dysgwr, o 3 i 19 oed, i ffynnu mewn byd gwaith sy'n newid yn barhaus. Dan arweiniad egwyddorion y Cwricwlwm i Gymru, rydym yn meithrin unigolion uchelgeisiol, galluog a moesegol sy'n barod i lywio llwybrau gyrfa amrywiol yn hyderus a chyfrannu'n gadarnhaol at gymdeithas. Trwy brofiadau deinamig, cynhwysol a dysgwyr sy'n canolbwyntio ar y dysgwr, rydym yn datblygu sgiliau beirniadol, gwytnwch, ac ymdeimlad o bwrpas, gan sicrhau bod ein myfyrwyr yn barod ar gyfer dysgu gydol oes a dinasyddiaeth gyfrifol yn yr economi fyd-eang.
Gyda'n gilydd, rydym yn ysbrydoli ein dysgwyr i archwilio eu diddordebau, datblygu eu doniau, a chroesawu cyfleoedd ar gyfer twf personol, gyda sylfaen gadarn yng ngwerthoedd lles, tegwch a chynaliadwyedd.
Yn Ysgol Bro Pedr, bydd ystod eang o weithgareddau sy'n cyd-fynd ag Addysg Gyrfaoedd a Byd Gwaith yn cefnogi dysgwyr i ddatblygu sgiliau hanfodol, archwilio opsiynau gyrfa, a pharatoi ar gyfer eu dyfodol. Bydd y gweithgareddau hyn, a arweinir gan egwyddorion y Cwricwlwm i Gymru, yn ddeniadol, cynhwysol, ac wedi'u teilwra i anghenion dysgwyr ar draws pob grŵp oedran (3-19). Mae enghreifftiau'n cynnwys:
Blynyddoedd Cynnar (3-7 oed)
- Gweithgareddau Chwarae Rôl – Gall dysgwyr archwilio gwahanol swyddi (e.e., meddyg, diffoddwr tân, athro) drwy chwarae dychmygus, datblygu sgiliau cyfathrebu a chymdeithasol.
- Ymweliadau gan Weithwyr Proffesiynol Lleol – Gall aelodau'r gymuned ymweld â'r ysgol i siarad am eu gyrfaoedd, gan helpu plant i ddod yn gyfarwydd â phroffesiynau gwahanol.
- Prosiectau Ymchwiliad Creadigol – Mae dysgwyr ifanc yn gweithio gyda'i gilydd ar brosiectau sy’n datblygu sgiliau rhifedd cynnar a gwaith tîm. (Siop Ffrwythau)
Blynyddoedd Cynradd (7-11 oed)
- Gwasanaethau ar Thema Gyrfaoedd – Gall gwasanaethau rheolaidd gyflwyno disgyblion i wahanol broffesiynau, gan ganolbwyntio ar sut mae pobl yn defnyddio sgiliau fel datrys problemau neu greadigrwydd yn eu swyddi.
- Heriau Menter – Gall dysgwyr gymryd rhan mewn heriau busnesau bach, fel creu a gwerthu cynnyrch, sy'n cyflwyno sgiliau entrepreneuriaid a gwaith tîm.
- Teithiau i Fusnesau Lleol – Mae ymweliadau â ffermydd, ffatrïoedd, neu fusnesau bach yn y gymuned yn darparu profiad uniongyrchol o wahanol amgylcheddau gwaith.
Blynyddoedd Cynradd (11-16 oed)
- Ffeiriau Gyrfa a Siaradwyr Gwadd – Bydd amrywiaeth o weithwyr proffesiynol a chyflogwyr yn ymweld â'r ysgol, gan gynnig mewnwelediad i lwybrau gyrfa amrywiol, gan gynnwys prentisiaethau, gyrfaoedd galwedigaethol, ac addysg uwch.
- Ffug Gyfweliadau a Gweithdai Ysgrifennu CV – Bydd cyfweliadau ymarfer gyda chyflogwyr lleol, ynghyd â chanllawiau ar greu CVs cryf a cheisiadau am swyddi, yn rhoi sgiliau parodrwydd gyrfaol beirniadol i ddysgwyr.
- Eich Dewis, Eich Dyfodol – Gweithdai i gynorthwyo disgyblion blwyddyn 9 i wneud penderfyniadau pwysig a gwybodus am eu dewisiadau ar gyfer y dyfodol. Mae’r digwyddiad hwn yn rhoi gwybodaeth i gefnogi, ysbrydoli ac ysgogi’r disgyblion i wneud penderfyniadau cywir. Cynhelir y gweithdai gan gyflogwyr.
- Menter Ifanc ac Entrepreneuriaeth Gymdeithasol – Gall dysgwyr arwain eu busnesau neu fentrau cymdeithasol eu hunain, gan helpu i ddatblygu arweinyddiaeth, llythrennedd ariannol, a sgiliau rheoli prosiectau o fewn Cymhwyster Bagloriaeth Cymru.
- Cyngor Gyrfau Arbenigol – Mae pob disgybl ADY yn derbyn cyngor gyrfau arbenigol. Mi fydd y cynghorydd gyrfau yn cymryd rhan yn Adolygiadau Blynyddol y disgyblion gan sicrhau cyngor ac arweiniad arbenigol i sicrhau pontio llwyddiannus.
- Cyngor Gyrfau – Cynigir cyfweliad gyrfaoedd unigol i bob disgybl blwyddyn 11 gyda chynghorydd gyrfaoedd o Gyrfa Cymru gan sicrhau cyngor ac arweiniad gyrfa diduedd. Blaenoriaethir y drefn ar ôl I ddisgyblion gwblhau holiadur ym mlwyddyn 10.
- Noson Dewisiadau – Cynhelir noson dewisiadau ar gyfer disgyblion a rhieni blynyddoedd 9 ac 11 er mwyn sicrhau bod gan y disgyblion wybodaeth gynhwysfawr a fydd yn gymorth iddynt wrth wneud penderfyniadau pwysig. Mae’r Cynghorwr Gyrfauy n mynychu y ddwy noson er mwyn cynorthwyo gyda’r penderfyniadau.
Chweched Dosbarth (16-19 oed)
- Gweithdai Paratoi'r Brifysgol a'r Coleg – Cymorth i'r rhai sy'n dilyn addysg uwch, gyda sesiynau ar ysgrifennu datganiad personol, prosesau ymgeisio, a pharatoi ar gyfer bywyd prifysgol.
- Menter Ifanc ac Entrepreneuriaeth Gymdeithasol – Gall dysgwyr arwain eu busnesau neu fentrau cymdeithasol eu hunain, gan helpu i ddatblygu arweinyddiaeth, llythrennedd ariannol, a sgiliau rheoli prosiectau o fewn Cymhwyster Bagloriaeth Cymru.
- Cyngor Gyrfau - Gall disgyblion Blwyddyn 12 a 13 ofyn am gyfweliad gyda chynghorydd gyrfaoedd er mwyn derbyn cyngor ac arweiniad. Mae'r ymgynghorydd gyrfaoedd yn gweithio'n agos gyda phennaeth blwyddyn 12 a 13 er mwyn asesu anghenion unigol y disgyblion hyn.
Bydd y gweithgareddau hyn nid yn unig yn meithrin sgiliau bywyd hanfodol ond hefyd yn meithrin ymdeimlad o chwilfrydedd, hyder ac uchelgais, gan sicrhau bod dysgwyr Ysgol Bro Pedr yn gwbl barod i ragori yn y gyrfaoedd o'u dewis.
Cytunir ar Gytundeb Partneriaeth gan y staff gyrfaoedd allweddol a'r cydlynydd gyrfaoedd yn yr ysgol yn flynyddol i sicrhau bod blaenoriaethau'r ysgol yn cael eu bodloni.

At Ysgol Bro Pedr, a wide range of activities aligned with Careers and World of Work Education will support learners in developing essential skills, exploring career options, and preparing for their future. These activities, guided by the principles of the Curriculum for Wales, will be engaging, inclusive, and tailored to the needs of learners across all age groups (3-19). Examples include:
Early Years (Ages 3-7)
- Role-Play Activities – Learners can explore various jobs (e.g., doctor, firefighter, teacher) through imaginative play, developing communication and social skills.
- Visits from Local Professionals – Members of the community can visit the school to talk about their careers, helping children become familiar with different professions.
- Creative Inquiry Projects – Young learners work together on projects like running a pretend shop, developing early numeracy and teamwork skills.
Primary Years (Ages 7-11)
- Careers Themed Assemblies – Regular assemblies can introduce pupils to different professions, focusing on how people use skills like problem-solving or creativity in their jobs.
- Enterprise Challenges – Learners can take part in small business challenges, like creating and selling a product, which introduces entrepreneurial skills and teamwork.
- Field Trips to Local Businesses – Visits to farms, factories, or small businesses in the community provide firsthand experience of different work environments.
Secondary Years (Ages 11-16)
- Career Fairs and Guest Speakers – A variety of professionals and employers will visit the school, offering insight into diverse career paths, including apprenticeships, vocational careers, and higher education.
- Paving the Way - Mock Interviews and CV Writing Workshops – Practice interviews with local employers, coupled with guidance on creating strong CVs and job applications, will equip learners with critical career readiness skills.
- Your Choice, Your Future – Helping year 9 students to make some important and informed decisions about their future options. This event provides pupils with information to support, inspire and motivate them to make the right decisions. Workshops and activities from the world of work.
- Young Enterprise and Social Entrepreneurship – Learners can lead their own businesses or social initiatives, helping develop leadership, financial literacy, and project management skills within the Welsh Baccalaureate Qualification.
- Specialist careers advice given to all young people with ALN needs. A careers Adviser will take part in the annual review process ensuring impartial careers advice and guidance to ensure a successful transition.
- Individual Careers Interview - All year 11 pupils are offered an individual careers interview with a careers adviser from Careers Wales ensuring impartial careers advice and guidance. They are seen in order or priority after completing a career check questionnaire in year 10.
- Options Evening – An open evening is help annually for year 9 and 11 students to discuss their next steps. Attendance of a careers adviser at the year 9 and year 11 options evening.
Sixth Form (Ages 16-19)
- University and College Preparation Workshops – Support for those pursuing higher education, with sessions on personal statement writing, application processes, and preparing for university life.
- Young Enterprise and Social Entrepreneurship – Learners can lead their own businesses or social initiatives, helping develop leadership, financial literacy, and project management skills within the Welsh Baccalaureate Qualification.
- Careers Adviser - Year 12 and 13 pupils are able to request an interview will a careers adviser in order to meet their advice and guidance needs. The careers adviser works closely with the head of year 12 and 13 in order to assess the individual needs of these clients.
- Mock Interviews and UCAS workshops
These activities will not only build essential life skills but also foster a sense of curiosity, confidence, and ambition, ensuring learners at Ysgol Bro Pedr are fully prepared to excel in the careers of their choice.
A Partnership Agreement is agreed by the key careers staff and the careers co-ordinator at the school on an annual basis to ensure that the priorities of the school are met.
